Deep Roots in Oil & Gas Law
Devon Cantrell is an oil and gas title attorney with a practice spanning Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Colorado. Her path into energy law began during law school, when an internship at a major independent exploration and production company gave her an early look at the complexity and pace of the industry. That experience set the direction for her career, and she has never looked back.
After graduating from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2011, Devon began her legal career at a firm in Boulder, Colorado before returning to Oklahoma in 2015 to focus her practice on oil and gas operations across the region. Over more than a decade in the field, she has developed significant experience handling complex title issues including state and federal drilling units, restricted Indian lands, riparian rights, accretion of rivers, subdivision and townsite ownership, and sophisticated production schemes.
Devon's practice at Cantrell Law Firm centers on oil and gas title examination, due diligence, and curative work. She also handles business entity formation, probate, and estate planning, giving clients a trusted attorney for both their energy and personal legal needs. She currently volunteers with the Oklahoma Innocence Project.

Beyond the Practice
Devon and her husband Blake met at TU Law and have built a life that keeps one foot in Oklahoma and one eye on the horizon. She is an avid traveler and enjoys running and surfing when she can find her way to a coast. She also volunteers with the Oklahoma Innocence Project, bringing the same careful attention to detail to that work that defines her legal practice.
