Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Devon graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. She graduated from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2011. While in law school, Devon interned at a major independent exploration and production company where she discovered a love for oil and gas law.

After law school, Devon began her career practicing at a law firm in Boulder, Colorado, and moved back to Oklahoma in 2015, focusing her practice on oil and gas operations in Oklahoma, Wyoming and Colorado. She has significant experience with complex oil and gas issues, including State and Federal drilling units, Restricted Indian lands, riparian rights and accretion of rivers, subdivision/townsite ownership and sophisticated production schemes.

Since 2011, Devon has been in the private sector where her practice focuses on oil and gas title examination, due diligence and curative work for operations in Oklahoma, Wyoming and Colorado. Devon also practices business entity formation, probate, and family law. She currently volunteers with the Oklahoma Innocence Project. In her free time, Devon enjoys traveling with her husband, running and surfing when she can make her way to the beaches on the coast.
